Hunt Story
First hunt of the year and first deer I saw in the stand this year. He came out of the bottom and looked right at me....I thought I was busted. I froze and he finally settled down and came on in and fed. I watched him for about 8 minutes, and when he started to leave.....is when I shot. The 308 did its job......the deer only ran 30 yards. I had to load him by myself, so I spun my tires down to help make it easier to load. A little redneck ingenuity. All in all....one of the best first hunts I’ve ever had.
