I had only one picture, possibly, of this buck a few weeks ago at night. About 7:30, I saw something out in front of me about 70 yards. When he walked out in the opening, I knew he was a good deer. He walked in my direction and turned broadside and continued walking. I drew my bow, and when he stopped, I released. He ran a ways, then about 80 yards out I saw him walking slowly through a ditch and he walked out of sight in the thick stuff. I got down in about 10 minutes and found my arrow, and then I backed out. We returned from camp and found him lying in the thick stuff about 60 yards past where I last saw him.
