Hunt Story
Myself and my husband decided to hunt this morning. As we arrived at the hunting lease the fog was bad, I decided to hunt our ground blind where this deer has been seen. As I was sitting in the stand two does came up on my right side, and they were acting like a buck was chasing them. A short time later a small buck came up the same direction as the does. He stopped and then turned back and ran off. At the same time the buck I got came up. We have seen pictures of him all hunting season and we named him the claw buck because his antlers looks like a claw. This is really amazing to me because I have never shot at a deer or shot one. Today I got my first shot and my first deer and for me I felt very lucky not to miss on my first shot. When I walked up to see how large the deer was, I did my grandson's happy dance. I still can not believe that my very first deer was a big buck.
