Hunt Story
I was hunting for the weekend with a group of coworkers at one of their hunting properties. It was the last hunt and I was hunting a food plot. Right at daylight I saw a small buck walk thru the food plot and went thru the woods. About 20 minutes later he came back across and disappeared. Then a small doe came out and went to a feeder in the food plot. She hung around about 30 minutes before the 10-pointer came out of the swamp and headed straight toward her. He stopped about 80 yards out looking straight at the doe, giving me a perfect broadside shot. I pulled the trigger and he never moved. Yes I’m admitting I missed. I shot the second time and he bolted toward me and crashed about 75 yards on the edge of the food plot. I was a exciting hunt and a great weekend.
