Hunt Story

I got into the stand about 5:50 p.m. after a storm. At 6:00 p.m. I had a spike and a doe walk into the field about 30 yards. Shortly after that a 6-point walked out and began fighting with the spike. It only lasted a few seconds and all three deer walked into the woods. I didn’t see anything till a few minutes before dark. The buck was already in front of me in the field. I drew back and the pin settled perfect, and I hit the trigger on my release. The buck ran about 75 yards and crashed in the edge of the woods. Then the adrenaline hit and I called my daddy to help me find the deer. It didn’t take long. It was an amazing hunt filled with action and family and friends!
