Hunt Story
Ava passed on a small buck around 8:30 a.m. We didn’t see another deer until around 9:45 when a doe ran past us. Approximately 5 minutes later, this buck came in grunting from the same direction the doe came from. Ava made a great shot. The buck ran off, but we thought we heard him fall. We waited about 45 minutes before getting down. After a short blood trail, we found him about 50 yards from where she shot him.
