Hunt Story
My daughter and I put in a long hunt. I have been seeing some bucks show up on camera mid-afternoon. So I decided to get us set up around 3:30 p.m. just in case they showed up. But of course, it didn't happen as planned. A few does showed up early down wind and they caught wind of us. As we sit there sweating, we were hoping for the bucks to show up behind us. At about 7:15 p.m. this buck walked out. At around 7:25 p.m., he finally gave her an opportunity for a shot. With the excitement and nervousness, she hit high. We looked for a few hours with little blood, but no luck. I then decided to come back in the morning. The next morning I started on the last blood found and headed down the ridge to a spot they use regularly to cross the creek and 50 yards from the last blood there he laid.
