Hunt Story

It began last season when he didn't make my hit list, but I knew if he survived the season that he would have potential for the 2020 season. I had many encounters with him last year and as the season winded down it got harder and harder to let him go, but I knew it would be wise to let him grow. I watched him from my cell camera all summer long as he came and went. Then, I got one last picture of him on July 13th and he disappeared for months. With the history from last year I knew what he considered as "home" so I patiently awaited his next arrival. September 19th, while working in AL on Hurricane Restoration I got the picture I was waiting for. He was back, and he was consistent at first light on the same trail. As soon as I got back home on Sept 21st I set up shop in a tree on that trail with my girlfriend in a nearby blind. Like clockwork, Bones as I call him came in at 7:40 a.m. Blessed with a shot opportunity and lethal shot I was able watch him fall 20-30 yards from where he was and expire within seconds.
