Hunt Story

Since my dad was not home yet my mom took me hunting. At first we saw a couple squirrels and a few doves. I saw something to my left in the woods. It wasn't long until a doe came to my left and my mom saw it, but I had my eyes on "Him." He was massive! It seems as if a second had become an hour when I saw him. I could feel my heart as if someone was inside me punching me into a pulp. Then he turned broadside, and I knew what I had to do. I lined up the shot, and pulled the trigger. We gave him about half an hour and went looking. After about 15 minutes my dog had found the deer. It wasn't long until we got it over the creek and up the hill to the side-by-side. We took it to the house got a ring and hung it on all the points and there were two small points, that held a ring! It was a big 11-pointer!
