Hunt Story

I was sitting in my stand when I saw a doe come out of some sage brush into a two-path clearing. I was watching her through my scope when I caught sight of the buck as he also appeared in the two-path approximately 20 yards behind the doe. The doe was heading in a north direction, and the buck was heading in a south direction. He apparently was not following her. As the buck stepped out of the two-path into the edge of the sage brush I took my shot. I did not see the buck go down. I waited approximately an hour before I went to look for the buck. I found him lying in a pool of blood approximately 20 yards from where I shot him.
