Hunt Story

I was hunting one side of the farm, with my husband on the other. Several does were out grazing and a couple small bucks pushing them around. I was looking through my scope when what I thought was another doe was actually a nice 10 pointer. Realizing this, I waited for the perfect shot. He turned broadside 80 yards out and I squeezed the trigger. He dropped in his tracks. I was texting with my husband and so excited I just dropped my biggest buck to date. Less than 1 minute later and even bigger 8 pointer stepped out from the same area, I couldn't believe it. Knowing I still had another buck tag, I again waited for the perfect shot and let it rip. The buck ran about 60 yards and piled up. My husband immediately came over and we recovered my deer. It was certainly a hunt to remember and we thank God everyday for the opportunity we have to do this together.
