Hunt Story
My family went to visit my grandparents and to get a few hunts in on the family farm! Me and my dad woke up late that morning and didn't get to the stand till 6:20, we saw 4 deer on the way to the stand but didn't spook them! We decided to do a few grunt calls and doe bleats once in the stand, but nothing came. We were watching a turkey and crazy squirrels when all of a sudden we heard water splashing and a limbs breaking! Dad said get ready here comes some deer! Maybe it will be a buck! Sure enough it was! He was pushing a doe straight to us! He finally turned and my dad stopped him and he offered me a broadside 50-yard shot! I squeezed the trigger and dropped him right there! Me and my dad high fived and huged! We got down and checked him out and thanked the good Lord for such a awesome hunt!
