Hunt Story
Annsleigh and I (her dad) got in the stand about 4:30 after school this afternoon, we were just hoping to see a deer actually. We sat and surveyed our surroundings and figured one might try to slip behind us so we kept a close eye that way. Around 5:15 to 5:20 I grunted a couple times and just laid the grunt tube down and was hoping to get one on it feet before dark. Right at dusk a caught movement in the food plot and checked with my binoculars, sure enough saw good set of horns and that’s what she’s been waiting on, one to put on the wall. Got her mom’s .243 up on the shooting rail, and Annsleigh slowly found him in the scope and punched a heart shot on him, buck folded up on the exact spot we had put out some doe pee at. This is her PB and going on the wall. I’m very proud of you Annsleigh, great job baby girl!
