Hunt Story
We had photos of this buck all summer in a millet field. I had a ground blind set up at one corner, and had seen the deer in full velvet on the 2nd day of bow season but couldn't get a shot. Finally, on the second Sunday of the season, I had a favorable wind on a drizzly afternoon to hunt, and he was the third deer to step out into the field. I was able to take a shot at about 30 yards with my crossbow, and he went down about 75 yards later!
