Hunt Story
I was sitting in a small tract of planted pines about 8 to 10 feet tall in a thick bedding area. I had two doe walk by me and go to the feeder 140 yards from my stand. They fed there for about 30 minutes when I noticed that the smaller doe started looking off to the right. I few minutes later the larger doe started doing the same thing, so I was trying to see what they were watching when the nice 10-point ran into view chasing the does off. I thought he was going to chase them, but he turned around and walked back to the feeder to eat. Thirty seconds later I shot and he bolted toward me and crashed in the thick pines between my stand and the feeder about 80 yards away.
