We hunted the tree stand in the morning and saw 2 small bucks and 9 does and fawns. We decided to try it one more time in the evening and we saw 6 does and fawns. The buck appeared up on the hill and came down to us and presented a broadside 40 yard shot. I grunted to stop the deer and then Anaston took the shot with her 7mm-08 and made a perfect hit. The deer ran into the woods about 30 yards and it was all over.
