Hunt Story
I got to my stand around 3 pm Friday. Around 4:00, I saw my first deer, a little yearling running around the woods. Sometime around 5:15 I had a doe come in behind me, and she just stood their for a long time looking into the hardwoods. After a while she started moving really slow and seem to be cautious. As she moving, I heard the buck grunt, and that was when I got to see him. After a few steps, he gave me a good broadside shot, and I took the shot. He was laying about 20 yards from where I shot him.
