Hunt Story
This is my daughter's largest buck to date. She was hunting in the Youth Adult Child Clayhole Swamp WMA early rifle hunt. We saw two small bucks and a doe Friday afternoon. Saturday she was able to kill two hogs, then Sunday afternoon the first deer to step out was this 8-point. We were sitting on a transition between river swamp and pines in an area that was loaded with scraps and heavy used trails.
