Hunt Story
It was cool that afternoon and I was enjoying the peaceful beauty of watching 3 does feed. Finally, this buck came out from downwind of them and starting grunting. As he came closer to the does, he started to chase them. I steadied my Ruger M77 Compact in .308 and as soon as he stopped for a second, I shot him. He dropped for a second, then jumped up and made it only a few feet before falling for his last. This hunt was made special also because my little cousin was there.
