Hunt Story
My dad and I went to the “old honey hole” this afternoon looking for a nice buck. We only saw does grazing for the first part of the hunt. Then, all of a sudden, the buck came out in a swag in the field. I could see him but couldn’t get a clear shot, so I had to watch and wait. He stayed behind an oak tree for what felt like an eternity. Finally, he worked his way up the hill towards the does and gave me a good broadside shot. I put it behind his shoulder and waxed him out of this world.
