Hunt Story
I got permission to hunt this property a few years ago and honestly I didn’t have high hopes going into the season. Most of the shooters we had on camera last year were either hit by a car or shot except a young 10 we passed. This year he blew up. I’ve been trying to see him on the hoof for a few weeks and it finally happened November 28th as he was working a scrape line. He was too distracted to see me draw at 30 yards and after the shot I watched him go down 20 yards from the scrape. We had pictures of him with the green rope in his antlers almost a full week before I shot him so I’ll probably leave it for the mount. My biggest buck to date.
