Hunt Story
I had been in the stand for about an hour with my dad and we hear a long tending grunt in the thicket below us followed by deer chasing and splashing in the creek. Soon after that we heard a gun shot very close and were both disappointed thinking someone else shot him. Then all of the sudden about 3 minutes later, a big doe runs up, followed by a nice 4-year-old buck. I shot at him and completely missed, however, he didn’t move, and I took another shot and he dropped right there.
