It was early around 8:20 a.m. and we were overwhelmed by the number of deer surrounding us. The largest buck walked out in between two trees and you could just barely see him over a fallen tree. I was lucky enough to see his side so I could shoot him. I took aim and boom. He kicked back and started running. Then we heard him fall. We climbed down out of the stand and we crossed the creek and up a steep hill. There he was.
