Hunt Story
We have been tracking “Turkey Foot” for three seasons with tons of pictures. He was ready to take this season, but until 5:30 p.m. on the next to last day of the season, no one had seen him other than on our trail cameras. I eased toward the green fields at about 3:45 with my goal of taking a doe. There were five in the field and the wind was perfect. However, the cold wind turned on me and spooked the does. I proceeded to the stand and witnessed some buck activity followed by Turkey Foot presenting for a clean shot.
