Hunt Story
I had seen a few does early that morning. Later, a group of large does and some young deer appeared, followed by this buck. The group made their way under my tree and I drew back the bow. They became suspicious and started to leave. I decided to take the shot and the buck ran a short distance and stopped. I thought I had missed, but the buck started swaying where he stood, and then walked away out of sight, giving me hope that I had made a good shot. I waited an hour and then found the deer just past where I had last seen it.
