Hunt Story
I saw a doe coming with a 3-year-old 8-point. He was dogging her. As they were coming toward me, I could tell she was in heat. I knew with that being one of the first does coming in, that there should be a mature buck with them. Not much longer and I caught a glimpse of the 10-point coming in behind them about 50 yards. Once he got about 60 yards from me, I took the shot and hit him broadside. He bolted out of my sight, but I knew where my shot was placed and shortly after that I found him laying about 40 yards from where I shot him.
