Hunt Story
I climbed in the stand at 5:00 just after baseball practice. At 5:54 I spotted two bucks. I shouldered my muzzleloader, took aim, and nothing... misfire! I didn’t even have the rest of my gear in place yet. I had to dig through my bag and get another bullet, pellets, and a primer. As quietly as I could I dropped the pellets in, place my bullet in the barrel, and used the ramrod to seat the bullet. I placed the primer in, took aim for the second time, and BOOM! DRT. The buck of a lifetime dropped in his tracks at 70 yards.
