Hunt Story
I had pictures of this buck on trail camera, and my son had seen him a couple days before right at dark. I decided to go and set in a box blind overlooking my food plot. I figured if I had a chance at him it would be at last light. As I sat there I saw a couple of smaller bucks and a few does picking around in the food plot, and sure enough right before last light he came into the food plot and begin to eat. I knew immediately what deer it was when I saw him. I quickly found him in my crosshairs and pulled the trigger. He ran off the field so I wanted to give him some time, so I went home and called my friend to help me come and look for him. When we came back and began to look, he immediately found blood and he had only went 50 yards in the edge of the woods.
