Hunt Story
I had never seen this buck prior to this hunt. All I knew was that a couple of buddies had seen him chasing a doe over the last week. So after hearing that, I had no doubt that I was going to have to spend every possible minute I could hunting him. Fast forward to Monday afternoon, I decided to go sit in the stand for a little while. A couple of hours went by and I saw nothing but squirrels, and then all of the sudden I saw a buck heading up the bank and a big one at that. I waited for him to hit level ground and then I shot him at 50-60 yards and he piled up directly in front of my stand. The adrenaline was crazy after I shot him, my first thought was "Holy heck, I just shot my first buck!" It was definitely a hunt to remember!
