Hunt Story
Dad put me in the stand at 3:30 and told me not to shoot any more hogs (I had shot 5 in the last 2 days after school) because the bucks were in rut and if I was going to get a big one, it was going to be today. I saw a big bodied deer cross at about 400 yards away and in about 15 minutes my buck walked across the food plot at 50 yards. I shot him and there was no doubt that I got him. He went about 30 yards and fell. I shot him two more times to make sure he didn’t get back up.
