Hunt Story
The hunt started off great. I was only 15 minutes into the hunt when I saw my first deer. It was a doe. I then had a small 8-point come in, and he fed his way out of sight. Some time passed before seeing the next deer. A 4-pointer came behind me feeding in acorns. I was watching him feed and then looked ahead of him and saw a doe. I then noticed a bigger-bodied deer behind the doe. I grabbed my binoculars and saw it was a buck. I quickly spotted out that it was my big buck I had on trail camera for two years now. I actually encountered this buck the 2018-2019 season and decided to pass on him. However, when he started easing his way to me, I started ranging him in. He left the doe to come and feed with the 4-pointer. The big buck was at 33 yards, and I stopped him to make the kill. I hit him and he went 30 yards and died.
