Hunt Story

My daughter's first deer ever taken. We were sitting in a buddy stand overlooking a small food plot. We had good deer movement right after daylight. She passed up on some smaller bucks, with the hope of seeing something bigger. We first saw the buck trailing other smaller bucks and does coming into the food plot. She made a good shot at roughly 80 yards. We waited roughly 10 minutes to recover the deer, which had only run off roughly 50 yards. My daughter shoots better than me, harvests larger deer than me, and looks better than me! We set a very high bar, but the memories will last a lifetime for this proud father.
