Hunt Story
This old buck was traveling with three other bucks for several weeks leading up to the season opener. The mature bucks were only passing through in the late afternoon hours, often just after sunset. Luckily, a favorable wind showed up the second day of bow season, making it possible to hunt the preferred stand setup. All four bucks showed up together, a half hour before dark, offering a 47-yard broadside shot on the number one deer on the hit list.
