Hunt Story
Winston and his Dad went hunting that morning and saw several deer around 8 am. A spike and a 7 point were chasing several does. This continued until about 9 am, and then the woods got quiet. However, we decided to continue to hunt and see what might come out. At 10 am we heard a limb break behind the stand. Winston turned around and saw a big buck. The buck was chasing two does with another buck. We started grunting, and he let out a snort/wheeze and started heading our way. He started chasing a doe in our direction, and Winston had an opportunity to make a great shot. The deer ran about 50 yards and fell over dead. This is Winston's second buck and by far his biggest. This has been an awesome hunting year. We thank GON for everything.
