Hunt Story
I was hunting the top end of a drainage with a mixture of pines and oaks. There were rubs in the area. A small doe came in, and I was about to shoot her when I saw a big bodied deer coming in quick — when I saw it was a mature buck I focused on him and waited for him to give me a good angle. My shot was 15 yards with a pass through. We waited 30 minutes and tracked him for about 200 yards, which was fun and I learned a lot. A great Christmas for me.
