Hunt Story
I decided to go hunting and my girlfriend wanted to go with me, so we went to a two-seat stand overlooking an unplanted food plot. Our first deer didn’t come out until 5, which were 3 does followed shortly by 2 spikes. The two spikes were fighting in the food plot for about five minutes and then ran out of food plot. I looked back across the plot and saw a large deer walking out from the thickest part. I put the scope on him and knew right off the bat it was a big deer we had pictures of. He gave me a 45-yard quartering-to shot, and I let him have it. He plowed about 40 yards off the plot and expired. Great evening for a late season hunt.
