Hunt Story
Had 3 does feeding and around 9:00 a.m. heard a deer grunt. When I looked in his direction, noticed horns coming through the woods. He stopped behind a cedar tree and watched the does for a minute or so, and then he walked off in the direction he came. I couldn't get a shot and thought he was gone, but in a few minutes he popped out just below the does, and this time I had a clear shot. I shot him and he ran off. When I got down and went to where he was standing, I didn't see any blood so panic started to set in. I then walked to where he ran in the woods and found him about 40 yards away. I've had pics of him for a month or so and have been hunting him hard, and he finally came out during daylight.
