Hunt Story
After watching a nanny and two yearlings while a neighbor fired up his bobcat to do clearing on his lot, I almost got down to go back to the house. I looked up to see a small 8-point in a shooting lane ahead of me. He was about 150 yards away. He eased off as I wasn't going to shoot him. I saw a couple of does then cross with another buck behind them. He stopped giving me time to look at him at about 225 yards. I saw that he was a good buck with good mass so I turned my safety to fire and made my shot.
