Hunt Story
I got into the stand a little before 5:00, it was misty and getting colder. I had been in the stand for about two minutes when a button buck came out. I sat and watched the button buck eat with a raccoon for about 25 minutes. My husband texted to remind me to look over to the left as well, not just at the food plot. I casually glanced to my left and saw this buck walking out following a doe. With my naked eye I could see his beautiful rack. Needless to say my heart was pounding. He was not chasing the doe, just slowing walking behind her. When she stopped to eat, he would as well. I watched him and waited for a shot. When I shot, he jumped and ran about 20 yards, I then saw him stagger and fall. I then walked over to him in the field.
