Hunt Story
On Saturday morning I got into the stand just before daylight; it was very cold. Two minutes into my hunt I saw a couple of does in our hay field, and about five minutes later they walked back into the woods. A little bit later they came out in our food plot. Then here comes a spike. He chased the does around a bit then proceeded to eat a little. Then out of nowhere here comes a doe flying out into the food plot. Trailing right after her was a buck with a huge rack. As soon as I had my gun on him, he chased that doe back into the woods. All the other deer ran into the woods, too. A couple minutes later four does walked out in a straight line back into the food plot. And then the huge buck came trailing behind them. I put my gun on him, and as soon as he stopped, I squeezed the trigger. It all happened so fast, I did not even get a chance to get nervous. I called my dad and said I just shot a huge buck. We trailed the deer about 100 yards and there he was, "Hook Brow" the buck I have been hunting all season.
