Hunt Story
Me and my son were hunting on a powerline. This was only the second time we’ve hunted this stand all year. We got in the stand around 3:00. Clear skies, wind was blowing in our face. About 4:45 we had 3 does come out about 100 yards away. The does ate for about 5 minutes and were looking behind them. Then the does ran off. I told my son too get ready, then the buck walked out on to the powerline. Then my son shot him. I could tell he was hit good. We waited about 30 minutes before looking for him. He only ran about 20 yards. My son's biggest deer to date.
