Hunt Story
Around 8:00 a.m. I heard something behind me and looked and saw this deer. With no shot I had to sit and watch him and eventually watch him walk out of sight. Twenty minutes later a spike walked in and was feeding out in front of me. After watching him I noticed he was looking at something behind me that I couldn’t see. It was the buck that had gotten by me. He had circled back and he came in and was running the spike off. After waiting for a shot he finally turned broadside. He ran 100 yards and crashed into a pile of trees that the hurricane had put down. I’m glad it was daylight or we might not would have even seen him.
