Hunt Story
I was bowhunting a travel route in the pines that funnels down to a creek crossing. I saw six different bucks that morning but no shooter bucks. I got back into the stand at 3:30 that afternoon. At about 4:30 I heard a deer coming. He stepped out from behind some thick bushes and down into the creek. The buck was cruising looking for does. He walked right into an opening at 23 yards giving me a broadside shot. After the shot he only went about 35 yards and piled up.
