Hunt Story
I started getting a few pics of this buck the Monday after opening weekend. I hunted him 3 times but never saw him. I got in the stand about 6:45 a.m. and by 6:55 I had deer feeding around me, but I couldn't see them because it was still dark. As it got light, I was surprised to see this buck feeding about 25 yards away. I had to wait about 5 more minutes for enough light to see through my peep. He gave me a 15-yard broadside shot and he only went about 80-100 yards before going down.
