Hunt Story
I first got this buck on camera on August 4, 2018. I had him on camera every day so I knew I had a good chance to see him on opening day. I went to my stand at 5:15 a.m. and had decided to sit all day. This would be my first time doing so. I had smaller bucks and does come out all through the day. I knew he would probably come out around 6:30 or so, and like a click he did. I didn't even think about it. I just stood up and took my shot. I made a good shot at 20-yards. He ran about 150-yards and piled up. Lucky for me, he was only laying about 15-yards from the road. What makes this hunt so special though is I was hunting with my dad for the first time in 30 years. I'll remember this day for the rest of my life.
