Hunt Story
On December 1, 2016 at approximately 7:00 a.m. I arrived at the area where I was going to be hunting. I had not hunted in this area in many years but decided to check it out on the first morning of the Warwoman Management hunt. I walked for about 45 minutes and came to the flood plot. As I crossed the field I was looking for sign but saw very little. When I got to the other side of the field, I was preparing a place to sit in my chair. I turned back around before I sat down, and looked back across the field. This buck was at the other end of the field at approximately 300 yards. I shot the deer in the chest and it jumped just out of the field around 30 yards. I waited about 10-15 minutes and then went to the deer. Big Buck Down!
