Hunt Story
I was hunting on January 7th, about a mile back in the woods in a shooting house. I saw nothing, and left at about 9:30 a.m. to go to church. On my way out, I spotted the deer on the hillside in cut-over. He saw me and started bouncing away. He came through an opening and gave me one shot, so I took it. I was amazed to see that it was in full velvet and recognized it from previous photos of a trail cam.
