The morning of the hunt it was about 27 degrees, so we waited until after first light to head to the woods. Just as I was getting settled into my box stand, I was busted by a doe and she started blowing. Just as I was thinking that the morning was ruined, the buck walked out at about 230 yards on the clearcut.
