Hunt Story
It was a cold morning, and I decided to give it a whirl. I had not hunted the spot I went to in almost a month. I was not very optimistic since I had not seen much deer movement lately. This morning was more active than it had been in weeks. I saw several different groups of deer prior to this 10-pointer coming through. He showed himself at 9:45, and when he slowed his walk I took the shot. He ran towards where I was sitting on the ridge and fell within 10 yards of my position. I let out my Rick Flair "Woooo!", and then called my wife to let her know that there would also be a taxidermy bill for Christmas.
