I walked into a spot where I have seen several other bucks and sat down by a tree. It was snowing and cold. I rattled and about 15 minutes later I shot it, but it ran over the hill. I had to search for a whIle. When I found the buck it was only injured so I had to shoot it again. I was truly blessed.
